I did it!! I participated in the Kiss Me Dirty Race Series of 2012!! It's a 5K obstacle course, with LOTS and LOTS of mud!!
This is the first time I have ever done anything like this, and I am so STOKED that I completed it! I feel so incredibly amazing knowing that I was actually able to DO something like this!

I'm SO EXCITED for next year! My Sister, mom, Leslie, and I are planning to have a team again next year! We're even recruiting Ben and his brother to dress up as girls and join our team! It's going to be AWESOME!!

Spring Break
So the first week of Spring Break is over! :( Luckily we get TWO weeks for Spring Break in my school district so I don't have to go to work tomorrow!
I always have big plans (in my head) for Spring Break, or any break for that matter. I usually only get around 40% or so of them accomplished, this break is proving to be no different! I did clean out both kids closets this week and did a TON of laundry. My house doesn't look to shabby either.
Instead of "doing" things that have to be done, I'm having fun with my kids! We've been to Peter Piper Pizza, Chuck E. Cheese, seen 2 movies in the theater, and just had plain 'ol fun! :)
One thing I have NOT been doing is working out! I don't know why I have so much motivation when I DON'T have any extra time while I'm working, but I DON'T have the motivation when I DO have the time?? I did go last night and it felt SO GOOD!!! I'm trying to convince myself to go again tonight...
I'm happy to announce that my last weigh in is was 159 pounds though!! That means that I've lost a total of 29 pounds now!! My original goal weight was 155 so I'm only 4 pounds away...but now I'm thinking of making the goal 150! :)

Dirty Desert Babes
Or at least I'm trying to be!! I feel like I'm really starting to get into a healthy lifestyle, not just a diet.
I'm starting a new 30 day challenge and following these new workouts and am going to try to follow the meal plan as much as I can. I'm not going to be too crazy but am definitely going to give most of it a try! The challenge is free for 30 days, and then you can purchase the workout downloads after that, so I'm going to see how it goes! Check it out!! :)
